The Allure of the Shadows: Why I “Went Dark”

For a long time, the idea of retreating was more than just a passing thought; it was and still is a strategic plan. I have spent decades researching the intersection of physics, sound therapy, and sacred geometry. I’ve seen results in my own body and the bodies of my private clients that the conventional “sick-care” system would call impossible.

For a long while, I listened. I stayed quiet. I focused on my private sanctuary. I learned to play the ukulele, hosted open mics, played the local farmer’s market every week. But the more I retreated, the more I realized that silence has a cost, especially when you know you have new knowledge and tools.

The “Aha” Moment: Legacy is Not Built in Silence

There was a moment during this period of reflection during the long high altitude hikes up Maunas that I didn’t have time to fully articulate in the 30-minute video.

It was a moment of profound clarity fueled by a deep, overwhelming sense of gratitude.

I want to express gratitude to my ancestors (whom I have recently learnt about for the first time while researching for the ancestor’s influence chapter in the book), my parents, and ex-partners and the four wonderful children we brought into this world, and at such a price for freedom vs the family court’ destruction of the family units. Even though we are separated by thousands of miles, they now have their own lives.

As a rebel I had to ask myself: What kind of example am I representing if I retreat when the world needs truth the most?
